International and Exchange Student Center

Located on the west side of the USU, International and Exchange Student Center is charged with helping students achieve the academic goals while relocating to a new state or country.  The International and Exchange Student Center offers a variety of programs and involvement opportunities, including:

  • Student Panels for an International Curriculum and Education (SPICE), which recruits international students to speak in classes on and off campus about their native cultures and experiences at neighboring schools, community colleges, and community organizations.
  • The International Student Mentor Program consists of international student volunteers who assist incoming students adjust to life in the United States by organizing International Orientation and International Coffee Hour, and assisting with the Cultural Festivals on campus.
  • International Coffee Hour, hosted each Friday in the International and Exchange Student Center
  • Educational workshops help international students with vital issues such as immigration policy changes, taxes for non-immigrants, etc.
