Associated Students

Associated Students, located just inside the southwest entrance of the USU, is the official student government for CSUN. The Student Government division represents the student body, advocates their needs, and defends their interests in dealings with faculty, campus administrators, and government officials. Together, they work interdependently with the campus and its auxiliaries, maintain an annual budget, and support student organizations.

Associates Students is also responsible for providing programs and services including SPACE concerts, films, lectures, the Children’s Center, the Ticket Office, the Recycling Program, Student Health Insurance, and Recreational Sports including the Fitness Centre, Sport Clubs and Intramurals. Internships, employment, volunteer leadership, scholarships, and career development opportunities are available for CSUN students.

Students can get involved as senators, directors, committee members and volunteers. These positions provide leadership experience with a fun atmosphere for students to grow while they achieve academic success.
