Oasis Wellness Center

New Wellness Opportunities Available to CSUN Faculty and Staff at the Oasis

Circles with Images of Oasis Programs and Services Inside

The new Oasis Wellness Center has rolled out selected programming for CSUN faculty and staff looking for a place to relax and revive here on campus.

The Oasis is offering fee-based services on-premises to faculty and staff through the Klotz Student Health Center, which include massage therapy, acupuncture and nutrition counseling with a Registered Dietician. In addition, free nutrition counseling appointments with Peer Nutrition Counselors from the College of Health and Human Development are now available. Visit the Oasis website for a schedule of available services. Register through the Klotz Student Health Center or in-person at the Oasis.

Access to other Oasis workshops, classes and skill series as well as its indoor and outdoor lounge spaces is limited to enrolled CSUN students at this time. Plans call for an assessment of Oasis operations and student attendance. Once the assessment confirms the Oasis is fulfilling its primary mission of helping students better manage the stress and sleep deprivation issues associated with campus life, additional programs may be opened to faculty and staff as feasible.

To provide an additional service to CSUN faculty and staff, the Student Recreation Center recently partnered with the campus HR Department and its Professional Development Program. This partnership now provides “Lunch Time Express” group exercise class options free of charge to all faculty and staff. For specific class times and more information, visit the Lunch Time Express webpage.

The Oasis Wellness Center is located in the University Student Union below the Computer Lab. We look forward to seeing you here.
