Facilities and Commercial Services Committee
The Facilities and Commercial Services Committee shall be responsible for recommending for approval all USU facility, meeting services and commercial services policies. The committee shall also be responsible for recommending changes regarding new commercial operations in the USU.

Goals/Accomplishments
- Participate in feasibility study for the creation of a Recreation Center.
- Participate in site visit to Multicultural Centers at other schools to get ideas for a potential Multicultural Center on campus.
- Reevaluate wasted space within the USU and create a brainstorm list of potential space uses to maximize the current facility use. This could include looking into the possibilities of a Nail shop, Barber Shop, and expanding the game room.
- Assess current sound policy to ensure that it meets student, staff and faculty needs.
- Participate and assist in the revision of the all USU Committee Operating Guidelines/Codes and update Facilities Committee codes as needed.
- Explore expansion opportunities for the Satellite Student Union, in preparation for a possible renovation.
- Site Visits to multiple recreation centers were taken.
- A new location was approved for STA Travel.
- A new location was approved for Associated Students.
- New light fixtures were installed around the USU.
- New policies were implemented for the computer lab.
