HBO Star to Host Espressions
WHAT: The University Student Union, Inc. (USU) and Union Program Council (UPC) will host Espressions, an open mic event that will feature live music, poetry, and art. It will be hosted by Shihan from HBO’s Def Jam Poetry.
WHO: CSUN students who enjoy art and poetry
WHEN: Thursday, Oct. 29 from 7 to 10 p.m.
WHERE: Games Room, USU
WHY: To provide students with a chance to express themselves in front of a live audience
BACKGROUND: UPC is a group of students who develop, plan, and implement diverse and dynamic recreational, cultural, educational and social programs and special events for CSUN students.
